Poznań was founded in the 9th century and soon it became the capital of the whole Wielkopolska Province (Great Poland). The biggest attraction of the Old Market is the majestic Renaissance City Hall with its magnificent tower and the famous clock with two legendary goat figures – an informal symbol of the city.
